Après discution avec maraudeur sur TS, voici un extrait du manuel du MiG-29 qui permettra d'avoir plus d'info pour compléter (entre autre) le manuel de la 92nd.
LANDING APPROACHES BY INTERCEPTING INITIAL POINT OF TURN TO PROGRAMMED AIRFIELD [...] 54. After reaching an altitude of 600m, perform the flight to the initial point of turn at an airspeed of 450 to 500km/h Perform the turn to the runway landing heading by reference to the deflection of the selected course pointer and the vertical position bar on the combined course indicator at banks of up to 30° When flying a 30° flight leg, after rolling into the final, extend the landing gear, flaps and proceed with the further level flight at an airspeed of 400km/h till the aircraft intercepts the equisignal zone of the glide slope beacon (at a distance of 12 to 14km at an altitude of 600m). voilà pourquoi je fais nos approches à 600m à la 120th [.....] When the LANDING mode is selected, the pilot receives the following information: - the course and glide slope deviation bars on the combined course indicator show the position of the equisignal zones of the course and glide slope with respect to the aircraft; - the large circle on the integrated display system screen displays the departure of the aircraft from the equisignal zones of the course and glide slope; - the distance to the runway is displayed on the combined course Indicator and on the integrated display system screen; - the selected course pointer on the combined course indicator shows the landing heading. For executing the landing approach by asking two 180° turns after going around, proceed as follows: - make a corrective turn to the runway landing heading; - retract the landing gear and flaps if they have been extended; - turn on crosswing leg at an airspeed of 450 to 500km/h at a bank of 30° climbing to an altitude of 600m or to the altitude assigned for the given airfield (assigned by the flight control officer) During the training flights, the flight time till the first 180° turn should amout to: - one minute from the begining of the takeoff run; - one minute after flying over the locator middile marker during the goaround; - one minute and 30 seconds after flying over the locator outer marker during the goaround. Compte tenu du boulo effectué par Maraudeur pour le manuel de la 92nd et les similitudes qu'il y a entre les 2 escadrons, le manuel de la 92nd sera / devra être lu par les pilotes de la 120th. Vous verrez d'ici two more weeks, il a fait un super boulo !
