Pour info, aux dernières nouvelles:

Head/head on

(USAF) Target with an aspect of 160 to 180 degrees.
(Naval) Target with an aspect of 0 to 20 degrees.

Hot

Attack geometry will result in rollout in front of the target.
On a leg of the CAP pointing toward the anticipated threats.
Group heading towards friendly aircraft; opposite of COLD.
Ordnance employment intended or completed.

OK, my mistake. J'ai été induit en erreur par mes anciens collègues DA. gap.gif
Du coup, après avoir repotassé l'APP-7D :
- Head On : lorsqu'un Bogey ou Bandit fait face à l'appareil,
- Hot : lorsqu'un appareil ou un groupe se dirige vers un groupe AMI.

Nails + direction = radar en search
Spike + direction = radar aérien locked on me (spike Air est donc un euphémisme)

Le signal de l'AWACS est bien un nails.
